MAGHA

The animal Magha represents is a male rat. A male rat can even die while having intercourse as they cannot control themselves. However, this helps us understand the extent of sexual desire of a Magha native.

But beyond just the need for sex, a male rat or Magha native loves to watch their children thrive. Deep down, they love to take care of their children and want them to see every night before going to bed.

The bird assigned to this nakshatra is an Eagle. Because like an eagle, these natives also stay focused on their desires and dreams. These people never plan for the short term.

Somehow, this nakshatra is associated with ancestral property which they can use any for feeding the next generation. Hence, these people try to descend their parents’ property. But sometimes, these natives have to fight for their land and it is no surprise if they lose in the end.

Mythology

The deity of this nakshatra is Pitris. It is believed that after dying in the battle of Mahabharata, Karna’s soul went to heaven. He was being served gold and jewels to feed. When Karna asked Indra, the latter told him, in his time on earth, Karna always donated gold and jewel and never offered food to his ancestors in Shraddha. Karna told him since he did not about his ancestors, he could not perform the deed. Indra, then, sent Karna on earth for 15 days to offer food and water in the memory of his ancestors. The 15 days time is known as Pitri Paksha or Kanagat.

Career

Since these people are so traditional and old school, their interest would be much in professions such as archaeology, Historian, genetic engineer, Antique dealer, librarian, Occultist, referee, Lawyer, judge and the like.

Health

Heart, Back, Spinal cord, Spleen, Dorsal, Spinal Aorta Region Sudden heart attacks, poisoning, backaches, cholera, and fainting are all possibilities. Palpitation, kidney stones, and humours are all symptoms of spinal meningitis.

Quality

The quality of Magha nakshatra is ugra, which indicates furious and violent actions. Hence, this Magha nakshatra is good for people who are planning to go on a war, performing funeral rights, to study about death or what’s beyond that, tantric activities.

The Worker is the caste of this nakshatra. These natives are dominant who constantly works to implement their idea. Magha individuals will always think about planning a family to continue their name. They expect their kids to carry on the success associated with their name.

Remedies

Being a Magha nakshatra means extracting strength from your ancestors. So, it would be very well for you to worship and keep your ancestors pleased. To do so perform Pitri Tarpan on the night of Amavasya or new moon.

Install a statue of an eagle in the housing facing South West and North West direction. It would be beneficial.
